3D Modeling, Construction Data :: ORB Eyewear
Based on a sketch by ORB eyewear, I made the 3d model for the construction of the real sunglasses. The product was realized utilizing a micro-injection molding process. Cavities were burned in steel using graphite electrodes to precisely duplicate the very complex 3D shapes. The renderings were made first for presentations. The last is a photo of the “real” eyeglasses.
